It is that time of year again. Everyone is looking to check out the 2024 college basketball conference tournament schedules as we prepare for March Madness. We have included the dates of the 32 conference tournament schedules for you. Additionally, there are links to brackets as we have them published for you to enjoy (all are posted now). The first conference tournament games get started on March 4th, and the last championship games are played on March 17th. The CBS Selection Sunday broadcast will air later that evening East Coast time. Once it is over, we will all rush to fill out our brackets on the following Monday and Tuesday. The First Four begins on Wednesday.

This version of the schedules is easier for some of our viewers to print (in the table format). We include the schedule in PDF and image format for you to print and share as you prefer. The first conference tournament games will start on March 4th and 5th 2024. On March 17th, we’ll quickly pivot to seeing where all of the bracketology has played out for the final seedings. What’s the Big Deal about Winning Your Conference Tournament?
Well, besides being a champion, there is an additional benefit to winning. Teams earn an automatic bid to the NCAA basketball tournament by winning their conference tournament. There are 32 NCAA Division I men’s basketball conferences who award automatic bids to their tournament champions in the month of March. The other 36 teams who earn spots in the tournament field are awarded at-large bids. These bids are selected by the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee. The committee uses a variety of tools to pick these bids (NET, RPI) that rank teams on a variety of metrics throughout the season.
