The 2024 MEAC basketball tournament schedule is from March 13-16, 2024. The tournament is being held at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. MEAC awards the tournament champion earns the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference’s automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Men’s basketball tournament.
How Does the MEAC Conference Tournament Seeding Work?
All eight teams in the MEAC are eligible to participate in the 2024 postseason tournament. The teams will seed by their regular season records. Standard tie-breaker rules for teams with the same record will be used. These consist of head-to-head results followed by results against common opponents that are seeded higher than the tied teams first. This goes on until the tie is broken.
