The 2024 Big 12 basketball tournament schedule is out and kicks off on March 12, 2024. Officially branded as the 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship, the tournament will be held at the Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri from March 12-16. If you want to go, the league is selling all-session tickets fans can use to check out the seven sessions of play during the tournament.
What’s Different about the 2024 Big 12 Basketball Tournament?
The 2024 Big 12 Basketball tournament schedule is the first to include 14 schools. The league did not rebrand to the Big 14 since the Big 12 name was established. This season marks the addition of UCF, BYU, Cincinnati, and Houston to the conference. The Big 12 has hosted the Phillips 66 Big 12 Basketball Championship at Kansas City for the men’s tournament 23 times now (women’s tournament 14 times). That is the most of any location in league history.

Kansas has no longer been the dominant force in the Big 12 Tournament. Texas has won two of the last three conference tournaments; however, the Jayhawks may be favored to win again this post season.
