The 2024 CAA basketball tournament schedule will get started on March 8th, 2024. The men’s Coastal Athletic Association tournament runs through March 12, 2024. It is being held at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. This is the first season the tournament is being held under the newly adopted CAA brand for the conference. The winner of the postseason tournament earns a bid to the 2024 NCAA Men’s basketball tournament.
How Does the CAA Conference Tournament Seeding Work?
For the 2024 men’s basketball tournament, all 14 CAA teams will have a chance to play and earn the automatic bid to March Madness. Team seeding is done by conference record first, then by head-head matchup results. The top 10 teams in regular season play earn a first round bye in the tournament. The top four seeds enjoy a double bye for CAA tournament play.
