The 2024 Big Sky basketball tournament schedule will be held from March 9th through March 13th, 2024. The tournament will take place at the Idaho Central Arena located in Boise, Idaho. This will be the 49th time the men’s basketball tournament has been held. The tourney was first played in 1976. The Big Sky conference tournament champion earns the automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA basketball tournament for the conference.
How Does the Big Sky Conference Tournament Seeding Work?
The Big Sky seeds the teams by conference record from the regular season play. Out of the 10 teams in the league, the top six seeded teams enjoy byes for the first round of play. If teams are tied heading into the postseason, the conference uses the standard head-to-head records to break the ties.
