The 2024 Mountain West basketball tournament schedule is held March 13-16, 2024. The tournament takes place at the Thomas & Mack Center located at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The UNLV campus is in Paradise, Nevada. Mountain West conference awards their automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s basketball tournament to the tournament champion.
How Does the Mountain West Conference Tournament Seeding Work?
For the 2024 tourney, all 11 member schools of the Mountain West will participate in the tournament. They are seeded by their conference record with head-to-head matchups used to break ties. Records against higher-seeded teams are used if the teams split their regular season matchups. The top five seeds in the tournament earn byes to the quarterfinal round of the tournament. ***March 8 Update. Seeds updated to reflect Wyoming as #8 and Fresno State as #9. We’ll update additional information as the seeding of the teams firms up.

CBS Sports Network takes over for the quarterfinals and semifinal rounds of play. CBS airs the championship game that is streaming on Paramount+ as well.
