The 2024 WAC basketball tournament schedule takes place March 13-16, 2024. Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada is the host site for the men’s and women’s conference tournaments. Grand Canyon won the 2023 WAC tournament for the second time in school history. The champion of the tournament earns an automatic bid to the NCAA basketball tournament.
How Does the WAC Conference Tournament Seeding Work?
Only eight of the 11 members of the WAC are invited to the tournament. Tarleton and Utah Tech are ineligible for the NCAA tournament but eligible to earn spots in the WAC postseason tournament. If either team wins, the conference’s automatic bid goes to the highest-seeded NCAA tournament eligible seed. Teams are seeded based on the WAC resume seeding system meant to reward teams for taking on tougher competition.

The 2024 WAC basketball tournament schedule for the men’s teams is below. The WAC TV schedule will be shown on ESPN+ through the fifth game. ESPNU/ESPN2 will cover game #6, and ESPN2 will air the WAC Men’s basketball championship game.
