The 2024 WCC basketball tournament schedule takes place between March 7th and March 12th, 2024. The tournament will be held at the Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada near Las Vegas. All nine teams in the WCC will compete to earn the conference’s automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Men’s basketball tournament.
How Does the WCC Conference Tournament Seeding Work?
Each of the nine teams in the WCC will be seeded by their regular season conference record. The #1 and #2 seeds get byes all the way to the semifinals of the tournament. The #3 and #4 seeds earn byes to the quarterfinals, and the #5, #6, #7 seeds get a bye to the second round. For the #8 or #9 seed to win the WCC tournament, they will need to win five games in a row. The WCC uses the standard head-to-head tiebreaker rules and if those don’t determine the higher seed, the higher NET after the regular season concludes breaks the tie.
