The 2024 Big West basketball tournament schedule will take place March 13-16, 2024. The tournament will be held at the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nevada. The team who wins the tournament will earn the conference’s automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball D-I tournament.
How Does the Big West Conference Tournament Seeding Work?
This will be the first postseason that the Big West implements the postseason team reduction rule. Now, only the top eight teams in the conference earn a spot in the Big West men’s basketball tournament. The #1 and #2 seeds are given byes to the semifinal round. The #3 and #4 seeds get byes to the quarterfinals. The bottom four seeds play each other in the first round. Of the 11 teams in the Big West, UCSD is the only one that is ineligible to play in the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament. The school is in their final year of the four-year transition period from D-II to D-I.

The 2024 Big West basketball tournament schedule for the men’s teams is below. The Big West TV schedule will be shown on ESPN+ through the Quarterfinals and on one of the semifinal games. ESPNU and ESPN2 take over the Big West TV broadcasts through the championship game afterwards.
