The 2024 Big South basketball tournament schedule is being held March 6-10, 2024. The end of season conference tournament will be held at the Quebein Center at High Point University. The champion of the men’s basketball tournament will earn the conference’s automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
How Does the Big South Conference Tournament Seeding Work?
For the 2024 Big South basketball tournament, all conference teams will compete. The top seven seeds overall will earn a first-round bye in the tournament. The seeds are determined by conference record followed by a tiebreaker. If two teams are otherwise tied against each other, then their record against the top ranked conference team not involved in the tie is used until a winner is declared. This method differs a tad from those conferences that use NET as a secondary tiebreaker.
