The 2024 Sun Belt Basketball Tournament schedule gets started with the first round of games on March 5th, 2024. The 2024 tournament will be played at the Pensacola Bay Center. The second round of games will take place on March 7th, and the tournament goes every day starting on the 9th until the championship game occurs on March 11th. ESPN+ will carry the tournament games until we get to the championship when ESPN2 will air the game.
How Does the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Seeding Work?
For the 2024 Sun Belt tournament, all of the conference teams qualify for the tourney. They will be seeded by their record within the conference. For any tied teams, a head-to-head tiebreaker is used. The top 10 teams in the standing will earn a single bye. The top four teams enjoy a double-bye that automatically advances them to the quarterfinals. The overall conference champion will earn the conference’s automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Men’s basketball tournament.
