What Did Tiger Woods Shoot today? Did He Make the Masters Cut?

What Did Tiger Woods Shoot today?

So, everyone wants to know. What did Tiger Woods shoot today? Was he able to make the Masters cut and set the record for consecutive cuts made in the golf major? For Friday’s round, Tiger shot even par, 72. This puts him at 1-over, 145 for the opening two rounds of the 2024 Masters. This also means that Tiger will make the Masters cut for a record 24th consecutive time. This sets a new record that he previously shared with Gary Player and Fred Couples.

What Did Tiger Woods Shoot Today?

So, when Tiger carded his even par today, that wasn’t his first 18 holes of golf. On Thursday, he only finished 13 holes when play was suspended due to darkness. The opening round of the Masters was delayed approximately two hours due to rain and course conditions. When play was suspended, Tiger stood at 1-under par through 13 holes. So, on Friday, he had to finish his first round, take a short break, then get back to it for a total of 23 holes played today. So, when you ask what did Tiger Woods shoot today? That could be a depends answer as well. We’ll go with the literal meaning of total score and the second-round score.

How Much Competitive Golf has Tiger Played this Season?

Tiger Woods has not played any significant golf in 2024. Until the 2024 Masters, he had only played 24 holes of PGA Tour golf. Anyone who is not a Tiger fan was predicting his body wouldn’t hold up today and he would withdraw. Tiger underwent ankle surgery following withdrawing from the 2023 Masters. His first tournament back was in The Genesis Invitational in February. He withdrew in the second round of that one due to having flu-like symptoms. The last two days have been his first competitive golf since then.

Can Tiger Woods Win the 2024 Masters?

At the time of this writing, play is still ongoing. Tiger is currently seven strokes back from the lead. Not out of contention, but he’ll need to have a better round on Saturday to put himself in striking distance for Sunday. Come back tomorrow to see the answer to what did Tiger Woods shoot today? We’ll keep you updated as soon as he wraps up the 18th hole.

What was One of Tigers Woods’s Best Comeback Victories in a Golf Tournament?

The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is one of my favorite Tiger Woods comeback victories. In 2000, he was down by seven strokes heading into the final round. Due to rain, the final round was played on a Monday. Tiger would come back and win! Here’s some video for you of that awesome golf moment. We’ll keep you posted on how Tiger does the rest of this weekend. Assuming he makes it to Sunday, that will be Tiger’s 100th round played at Augusta National.
