The 2026 Masters Tournament is finally here. As the azaleas bloom at Augusta National, golf fans are preparing for the first Major of the year (April 9–12, 2026). There is a significant shift in the broadcast landscape this year for the 2026 Masters TV schedule. For the first time, Amazon Prime Video joins the Masters as a primary broadcast partner, streaming two hours of exclusive early-round coverage on Thursday and Friday.

The 2026 Masters Field: Top Players to Watch

The field features 86 of the world’s best golfers. The biggest storyline is Rory McIlroy, who returns to Augusta as the defending champion after completing his Career Grand Slam in 2025. Augusta National Course: 2026 Hole-by-Hole Data

Augusta National has been lengthened to 7,565 yards for 2026. The most significant change is the 17th hole (Nandina), which was extended by 10 yards compared to the 2025 Masters

Masters 2026: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Where can I watch the Masters for free? The official Masters app and Masters.com offer free streaming for “Featured Groups,” “Amen Corner,” and “Holes 15 & 16.” For the main broadcast, you will need access to Amazon Prime, ESPN, or CBS.

Why is it called “Amen Corner”? It refers to holes 11, 12, and 13. The name was coined in 1958 to describe where the most dramatic and “prayerful” moments happen on the course.

Is there a cut at the Masters? Yes. After 36 holes (Friday), the field is trimmed to the low 50 players and ties.

What is the prize for winning? In addition to the legendary Green Jacket, the 2026 winner is expected to take home a record share of approximately $3.6 million.
