The NHL takes its show to Finland in November. The 2026 NHL Global Series Finland sends the Carolina Hurricanes and Seattle Kraken to Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki for two regular-season games on Nov. 12 and Nov. 14. Both count in the standings. Here is the schedule in Eastern time and what we know about watching.
Global Series Helsinki schedule
| Game | Date | Start (ET) | Local |
|---|---|---|---|
| Game 1 | Thursday, Nov. 12 | 12:00 PM | 7:00 PM |
| Game 2 | Saturday, Nov. 14 | 1:00 PM | 8:00 PM |
Because Helsinki is six hours ahead of the US East Coast, puck drop lands around midday ET both days, so these are morning-to-afternoon games for North American viewers.
What to know
These are not exhibitions. Both games are regular-season contests that count in the standings, with two points on the line each night for Carolina and Seattle. US broadcast and streaming details had not been announced as of this writing; the league says they are coming soon, and we will update this page when they land.
