How the 2027 Pac-12 Tournament works

The nine teams are seeded by their regular-season conference finish. The bracket is built to reward the best regular seasons: the top two seeds skip straight to the semifinals, and no bottom seed can reach the title game without winning four games in four days.

The event opens with a single play-in game between the No. 8 and No. 9 seeds on Tuesday. That winner joins seeds 5, 6 and 7 in the first round on Wednesday. Seeds 3 and 4 enter at the quarterfinals on Thursday, the top two seeds enter at the semifinals on Friday, and the championship is Saturday, March 13 on CBS. Higher seeds are matched against the lowest surviving seed at each step.
