The new five-team format explained
For the first time, the All-Star Game becomes a nations-based tournament rather than a divisional exhibition. The Skills competition leans young in 2027. It features 10 rising stars, all 25 or younger, competing across as many as six of eight selected events on Friday, February 5 at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN. It is the opening act before Saturday’s tournament and a showcase for the league’s next wave of talent.
