Upset Watch
Packers at Vikings. Minnesota is only a field-goal-and-change favorite at home, and Green Bay has owned the road side of this rivalry in recent openers. We like the Packers to steal it outright.
Bills at Texans. This one is a pick’em for a reason. Buffalo travels well early and has the quarterback edge; give us the Bills to win a coin-flip opener on the road.
Best Bets and Leans
- Browns +8.5 at Jacksonville. That is a lot of points for a division-style opener; we lean Cleveland to cover even in a loss.
- Under 39.5 in Jets at Titans. Two offenses still finding their footing and the lowest total on the board.
- Bengals -4.5 at home over Tampa Bay in the highest-total game of the Sunday slate (50.5).
