2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup Groups
The 16 teams were split into four groups of four in the official draw. The four group winners advance straight to the quarterfinals, while the runners-up and third-place teams drop into a qualification round to fill the last four spots. Here is how the groups line up in Berlin.
How the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup Bracket Works
Each team plays three group games. The winner of each group advances directly to the quarterfinals. The second and third-place teams from each group drop into a single-game Qualification to Quarter-Finals round, with crossover matchups between Groups A and B and between Groups C and D. The four winners of those games join the four group winners to complete the eight-team quarterfinal field. From there the tournament is single elimination: quarterfinals, semifinals, a third-place game and the final.
