2027 NHL All-Star Game Format
The 2027 All-Star Game moves to a five-team, 3-on-3 tournament with squads representing Canada, the United States, Sweden, Finland and a Rest of the World team. Each team carries an 11-player roster decided mostly by fan vote, with the NHL Players’ Association adding one forward, one defenseman and one goalie per team. After a round robin, the top two teams meet in a 10-minute championship game. The All-Star Skills on February 5 spotlights 10 players age 25 or younger competing across events such as fastest skater, hardest shot and accuracy shooting.
