The 2026 Women’s College World Series (WCWS) officially begins on Thursday, May 28, and runs through the best-of-three championship finals ending on Friday, June 5, 2026. The entire eight-team double-elimination tournament will take place at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.   • Where is the Women’s College World Series held? Every match of the final phase is hosted at Devon Park (formerly the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
  • How does the double-elimination format work? The eight surviving teams are split into two separate four-team pods. A program must lose twice to be eliminated from their side of the bracket. The surviving winner from each pod will advance to meet head-to-head in the best-of-three championship round.
