What the Week 9 Lines Are Telling Us

The biggest Week 9 number is Seahawks -13.5 over Arizona, with Chiefs -9.5 over the Jets and 49ers -8.5 over Las Vegas close behind. Totals peak at 52.5 in Dallas Cowboys at Indianapolis, while Cleveland Browns at New Orleans and New York Jets at Kansas City share the low mark at 41.5. Pittsburgh and Tennessee are on bye, so pools run 15 games. Prime time: Jaguars at Ravens on Thursday, Buccaneers at Bears on Sunday night, and Bills at Vikings on Monday.

How to Run a Week 9 Pick’em Pool

Print one sheet per player. Each person circles the team they think will cover the spread in every game (and optionally the over or under). Score one point per correct pick against the spread; the most points wins the week. For a tiebreaker, have players guess the total combined points in the Monday night game, Buffalo Bills at Minnesota Vikings. You can also lock your pool to the numbers on this sheet so everyone plays the same spreads all week.
