The third-place game between Japan and Great Lakes starts at 10:00 AM ET on ESPN2.

The tournament field is comprised of 10 structural regional champions from the United States and 10 international regional champions. Under international expansion rules, the Panama and Curaçao regional champions receive automatic direct entry slots into the Williamsport bracket for the 2026 cycle. Little League held the bracket draw on June 10, 2026, setting all 12 opening-round games, with Panama entering on August 21 against the winner of Game 1, and Curaçao opening on August 21 against Japan.
