SMU’s home opener is on August 31st against Houston Christian. The Mustangs first ACC conference game after moving over this season is against FSU. The Mustangs wrap up the regular season at home against fellow ACC newcomer, California on November 30th.
2024 SMU Football Schedule
The 2024 SMU Football schedule is much different this season with the move to the ACC. They play FSU, Louisville, BC, UVA, California, Stanford and other new teams to their NCAA football regular season schedule. The ACC conference championship is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th, 2024. It will be broadcast on ABC this season. 2024-25 College Football Postseason
The ACC football champion will earn a spot in the 2024-25 College Football Playoff now that we have 12 teams in it.
