The 2024 Illinois football schedule kicks off against Eastern Illinois at home on August 31st, 2024. They start Big Ten conference play at Nebraska on September 21st. The Fighting Illini wrap up regular season play on November 30th against Northwestern on the Road.
Illinois Football Schedule Updates
There are two significant changes in the Big Ten this year. The first change is that divisions are gone. Bye-bye. The top-two teams get to go to the conference championship game at the end of the regular season. The second big change is there are 18 teams in the Big Ten now. New additions for the 2024-25 football season are: Oregon, Washington, USC, and UCLA join the conference this year. You can check out the Illinois schedule below. We’ll update the game times and TV schedules when announced/released. They typically get put out closer to game day due to TV network plans.
