The 2024 Minnesota football schedule kicks off against UNC on Thursday, August 29th, 2024. One of the first games in the college football calendar this year. The Golden Gophers first Big Ten game is at home against Iowa on September 21st. They will play conference newcomers USC and UCLA this season. Minnesota finishes the regular season on November 30th on the road at Wisconsin.
Minnesota Football Schedule Updates
There are two big changes in the Big Ten this year. First, is that we got rid of divisions. Yup, now its just the two teams with the best conference record at the end of the year who play in the conference championship game. The other big deal is we have 18 teams in the Big Ten now. New additions for the 2024-25 football season are: Oregon, Washington, USC, and UCLA join the conference this year. You can check out the Minnesota schedule below. The 2024 Minnesota football schedule starts out with four straight home games. Then, things get real with going on the road to play the defending CFP champions, Michigan on September 28th. There are some great games on the Minnesota schedule this season. The Big Ten was even nice to UCLA and didn’t make them come to play in late November.
