Washington joins the Big Ten for the 2024 college football Season. They are joined by fellow, former PAC-12 teams: UCLA, USC, and Oregon. The conference will have 18 teams this season. 2024 Apple Cup Schedule
Despite the move to the Big 10, the Apple Cup is on the schedule for the 2024 college football schedule. Washington hosts Washington State on September 14th, 2024 for the famed matchup. The game has been played since 1900, and the Apple Cup awarded since 1963. One of the big changes with the conference moves, is the game is not on the Friday after Thanksgiving this year. Washington leads the series 76-33-6 with Washington State last winning the contest in 2021.
