The March Madness Bubble Teams 2024 are going to be a bit crazier than normal. This is from what is being called bracket thieves, earning automatic bids that were not expected to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. We’ll go over who is being projected to just get in and who is projected to be left out to possibly join the NIT.

So, if you watched ESPN at all on Saturday, then you know that it’s been a crazy past few days. The March Madness bubble teams 2024 have seen a crazy Saturday go down. One of the most chaotic in the era of Bracketology. Some good teams that were on the cusp of getting into the NCAA Men’s basketball tournament, are now probably not making it.
These include Virginia, Seton Hall, and St. John’s. Some others include Pitt, Providence, and Indiana State. Teams that were bracket thieves or at-large bid thieves this year include: Oregon, New Mexico, Temple, and NC State. Additionally, three of the four projected #1 seeds lost. This is going to be a crazy March Madness.
Men’s Basketball Teams on the Bubble
Heading into Sunday, we don’t expect there to be any additional teams added to the bracket thieves list. Now, the NCAA Selection Committee of course has the final say. ESPN will get more of the inside scoop for us closer to go-time for the Selection Sunday broadcast, so we’ll see how things shake out. We’ll also see who the biggest NCAA Tournament snubs are after the final 2024 March Madness brackets and matchups are released.

The NCAA Tournament Selection Committee could see things a bit different than the bracketologists. If so then expect one or more of the teams on this list to swap out with one of the 4-8 above listed as just getting into the dance. St. John’s really came along at the end of the season. Indiana State is everyone’s favorite. But, for either team to get into the tournament it will come at the cost of another. So, we’ll see.
