The 2024 LSU football schedule kicks off on August 31st. The Tigers play a neutral site game against USC. LSU’s first SEC game is on the road against South Carolina on September 14th. Their first SEC game at home in Death Valley is on October 12th against Ole Miss. LSU plays their first game against new SEC-member Oklahoma at home on November 30th. This will also be the final game of the regular season for the Tigers.
What’s Different for LSU Football in 2024?
The biggest change for LSU in SEC football this year is the elimination of divisions. All teams in the SEC now compete for the overall #1 and #2 seeds. Once a SEC team earns one of these positions, they will get to play in the 2024 SEC Football Championship. The significant change is the addition of Oklahoma and Texas to the conference.
