What’s New on the 2027 WRC Calendar
This is the widest-reaching WRC season in years. The headline is the return of Rally United States, based around Knoxville, Tennessee, which puts a world championship round back on American soil for the first time since Olympus Rally in 1988. It lands in a late-August gravel slot, flowing straight out of the European summer swing.
The United Kingdom is back too. Rally Scotland, run from an Aberdeen base, returns the championship to British stages for the first time since Wales Rally GB in 2019. Italy’s round moves from the island gravel of Sardinia to a new tarmac event centered on Rome, Rally d’Italia, while Rally de Portugal drops off the schedule after a long run as a gravel staple. Paraguay and Chile close out a South American double-header in late autumn before the season ends under lights and over desert dust in Saudi Arabia.

US television and streaming details for the 2027 World Rally Championship had not been announced when the calendar was confirmed.
