2028 Air Force Falcons Opponents & Schedule
Only a few 2028 games are confirmed so far. Air Force visits UTSA on Sep 30, 2028 (the second leg follows in 2032), and the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy rivalries continue with the Falcons hosting Navy and traveling to Army. The Mountain West conference schedule for 2028 has not been announced.
Beyond 2028
Looking past 2028, Air Force has a home-and-home with Arizona (at Arizona on Sep 15, 2029; home on Sep 6, 2031) plus the return UTSA game in Colorado Springs on Sep 11, 2032, and the Army and Navy games are expected annually.
How Air Force Falcons’s Schedule Works
As a football-only Mountain West member, Air Force fills roughly eight conference games each year with matchups the league assigns, then arranges its own non-conference slate on a multi-year cycle set by the athletic department. Two of those non-conference dates are permanently reserved for Army and Navy as part of the Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy, which the three service academies compete for every season. The remaining openings are booked years in advance through home-and-home deals with FBS programs and buy games against FCS opponents.
