How the 2027 Formula E Season Works

Formula E is the FIA’s all-electric single-seater world championship, and 2027 marks the arrival of the faster, more powerful GEN4 car. Several stops are double-headers, meaning two separate races (and two sets of points) across one weekend, which is why 13 event weekends produce 21 rounds. Expect the usual Formula E wrinkles: qualifying duels, ATTACK MODE power boosts and tight street circuits where track position is everything. For US fans, the calendar is unusually friendly, with back-to-back home rounds in Austin and Miami in February.
