High school football roster and depth chart printable with offense, defense, and special teams two-deep
  • A 26-line roster table for numbers, names, positions, class year, and height and weight.
  • An 11-position offense depth chart with a first and second string at every spot.
  • An 11-position defense depth chart laid out in a base 4-3 front.
  • A special teams two-deep for kicker, punter, long snapper, holder, and returners.
  • Free to download and print, a two-page coaching kit built low-ink.

What Is in the Kit

The first page is your master roster. A team info bar at the top holds the team name, head coach, class or division, and season, and the roster table below has a row for every player with a jersey number, position, class year, and height and weight. The second page is the depth chart: a two-deep for all 11 offensive positions and all 11 defensive positions, plus a special teams block for the kicking and return spots. Together it keeps your whole team and your lineup on two pages you can print and reprint all season.

How to Set Your Two-Deep

Write your starter on the first line and your top backup on the second line at each position. Update it every week as the depth changes with injuries, matchups, and player development. A clear two-deep helps you make fast substitutions, plan reps in practice, and know exactly who is next in at every spot. Keep it with the roster page so your numbers and your lineup are always together. Pair it with our high school football schedule template to keep the season organized start to finish.

High School Football Roster FAQ

How many players does the roster hold?

The roster table has 26 lines. Print a second copy if you carry a larger varsity or want to track your junior varsity separately.

What positions are on the depth chart?

The offense lists quarterback, running back, receivers, slot, tight end, and the five offensive line spots. The defense uses a base 4-3 with the defensive line, three linebackers, two corners, and two safeties. Special teams covers kicker, punter, long snapper, holder, and both returners.

Can I use it for a spread or 3-4 defense?

Yes. The positions are labeled clearly, and you can relabel any spot to match your offense or defensive front. The two-deep structure works for any scheme.

Is it free to print?

Yes. The roster and depth chart is a free two-page PDF designed to print low-ink for standard letter-size paper.
