The field and the format
The Baha Mar Hoops series runs several events in Nassau, and the Bahamas Championship is the four-team headliner. The 2026 field mixes three high-major programs, Wisconsin from the Big Ten, NC State from the ACC and Seton Hall from the Big East, with a dangerous Murray State side out of the Missouri Valley. For the high-majors these are useful Quadrant opportunities on a neutral floor; for Murray State it is a marquee stage against power-conference competition.
The format is a straightforward four-team bracket. Two semifinals are played on Thursday, November 19, and the winners meet in the championship on Friday, November 20, while the semifinal losers play a third-place game the same day. Tip times and the final TV windows are confirmed closer to the event.
