How we build these rankings
Rather than lean on a single writer, we average the latest rankings from a handful of respected national sources (ESPN, The Athletic, Pro Football Network, Yahoo Sports and Sharp Football Analysis) into one consensus order. That smooths out the outliers and gives you the field’s honest read on every team, top to bottom. Records and results are through Week 3.

Biggest risers
The Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos are the week’s clear climbers, both jumping multiple spots across the national polls. The New England Patriots also made a big move up several boards, and the Chicago Bears keep inching into the playoff conversation.
Biggest fallers
The Green Bay Packers took the hardest tumble of the week. The Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks (still top five, but down from the very top) and Houston Texans all slid on multiple boards as well.
