How the League Phase Works
Each of the 18 clubs was drawn against six opponents, two from each of the three seeding pots, one home and one away in each pairing. There are no return legs in the league phase; you play each of your six opponents once. After all six matchdays, the single table sets the bracket: the top four are seeded straight into the quarter-finals, the teams ranked fifth through 12th meet in two-legged knockout play-offs for the remaining quarter-final places, and the bottom six are out.
