How to Use the Draft Board

How a Snake Draft Works
Most fantasy hockey leagues use a snake, or serpentine, order. The pick order reverses every round: if you draft first in round one, you draft last in round two, first again in round three, and so on. That balance is why your draft slot matters less than your plan. The board's arrows show the direction of each round, with odd rounds running left to right and even rounds running right to left.
