It is official: No. 1 Texas is the 2026 Women’s College World Series champion. The Longhorns swept No. 3 Texas Tech in the best-of-three championship series, winning Game 1 7-3 on Wednesday and Game 2 4-1 on Thursday to claim back-to-back national titles. No Game 3 was needed. It is the second straight year Texas has defeated Texas Tech for the crown.
