The 2024-25 college football playoff rankings are out. November 5th was the first official playoff ranking for the 2024-25 CFP and bowl season. This is the first season that we get to watch 12 teams play in the postseason, so there’s going to be a lot more interest in the rankings by more teams deeper into the season this year. Oregon starts out the first CFP ranking as #1 with Ohio State as #2, and Georgia is #3.

So, some things to note for the 2024-25 college football playoff rankings that just came out. First, the top four conference champions get the #1 through #4 seeds (and byes associated with those spots). So…that’s why you see Ohio State as a #5 seed with a #2 ranking right now. The first ranking, so we’ll see a good amount of movement for a number of the teams over the rest of the season. We also have the week 11 college football AP poll up here for you too.
