The 2024 ACC baseball tournament schedule takes place from May 21st through May 26th, 2024. The tournament takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina this season. The top 12 teams from regular season play earn a spot in the ACC Baseball Tournament. The champion earns the automatic bid from the ACC to the 2024 NCAA DI baseball tournament.
How Does the ACC Baseball Tournament Seeding Work?
The ACC baseball tournament seeding works a little differently than some of the other major conferences. First, not all of the teams get to play. This is just like the SEC Tournament and a number of other conferences. 12 teams get a spot. The #1 and #2 seeds go to the division winners. The league then divides the teams into four pools of three teams. The winner of each pool then moves on to the single-elimination bracket to fight it out for the championship. If there ia a 1-1 tie in a pool, the higher seed gets to move on. So, if you are a lower seed, you just have to win baby to move on.
