The 2024 NFL Preseason week 1 schedule is out. The Hall of Fame game is on August 1st, 2024. The official start to the first week of the preseason is on August 8th with the Carolina Panthers playing at New England. Most teams play three games during the preseason. There is a move to reduce the preseason games to two, but we’ll see how that works out. You can also see some of these games get shifted to different days that we’ve annotated on the schedule.
2024 NFL Preseason Week 1 Schedule
The 2024 NFL Preseason week 1 schedule officially starts on Thursday, August 8th, 2024. The first of three preseason weeks, games in week 1 run through Sunday, August 11th. If you see a or and date range listed, it means the game is eligible to have its date shifted by the NFL closer to game day. This will depend on TV schedules and fan dynamics ahead of the start of the NFL regular season.
