The 2024 Olympic Men’s soccer schedule is out. All of the group stage matchups and TV broadcast times are set. The men’s tournament kicks off on July 24th, 2024 and wraps up play with the Olympic Gold medal game (or final) on August 9th, 2024. The men’s soccer (football) tournament wraps up a day before the women’s gold medal game. 2024 is the first Olympics since 2008 that the US Men’s National Team has earned a spot at the games.
What Teams are in the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics for Soccer (Football)?
For the Paris Olympics, we get to enjoy 16 teams in the men’s tournament. The Euros and Copa America will have been completed several weeks before the Olympics, so we’ll have a better idea of who the emerging favorites are when those contests conclude. There are three Olympic teams from Asia, Africa, and Europe respectively. There are also two from South, Central, and North America, one from Oceania, and France as the host country. Guinea was the final team to earn a spot after winning the AFC-CAF Playoff.

2024 Men’s Olympic Soccer Group Draws
The 16 teams in the Men’s Olympic soccer matches are split up into four groups for the initial stage of play. Here are the assignments.
Group A: France, USA, Guinea, New Zealand
Group B: Argentina, Morocco, Iraq, Ukraine
Group C: Uzbekistan, Spain, Egypt, Dominican Republic
Group D: Japan, Paraguay, Mali, Israel
2024 Men’s Olympic Soccer Venues
So, soccer and football fans get to enjoy games all around France during the Olympics. Here are the venues planned for the men’s action. If you are in town but can’t manage to secure tickets to one of the games, most of the stadiums offer tours that you can book ahead of time to check out the pitch and everything. If you haven’t done one before, from my experience those are pretty cool.
Bordeaux, Lyon and Marseille: Five games at Stade de Bordeaux (FC Girondins de Bordeaux’s Matmut Atlantique), Stade de Lyon (Olympique Lyonnais’ Groupama Stadium) and Stade de Marseille (Olympique de Marseille’s Stade Velodrome).
Nantes: Four games including bronze medal game at Stade de la Beaujoire (FC Nantes).
Nice and Saint-Etienne: Three group games only at Stade de Nice (OGC Nice’s Allianz Riviera) and Stade Geoffroy Guichard (AS Saint-Etienne).
Paris: Seven games at Parc des Princes (Paris Saint-Germain).
