Top 10 Bowl Bets to Make This Week; Locks, Dogs & Props (Dec 13–20)

Top 10 Bowl Bets

Here are your top 10 Bowl bets to make this week. Bowl season kicks off Saturday with two early clashes, building to the CFP First Round fireworks on Dec 19–20. With lines dropping fast (courtesy of DraftKings and FanDuel as of Dec 9), we’ve looked at the board for the best value: three locks (favorites you can trust), four dogs (underdogs ready to bite), and three props (player/team overs that scream payout). These 10 bets target the 10 games from Dec 13–20, blending CBS SportsLine model sims (10,000 runs per game), ESPN expert consensus, and historical ATS trends. Remember, opt-outs and portal chaos could shift things. Check lines closer to kickoff, and always do your own research.

The Top 10 Bowl Bets: Locks, Dogs & Props

I always like to put a top 10 Bowl bets article this time of year for the college football bowl and playoff schedules. Please DYOR (do your own research), and enjoy the games.

  1. LOCK: Oregon -20.5 vs. James Madison (CFP First Round, Sat Dec 20, 7:30 PM ET, TNT)
Ducks roll 42-14 in Autzen’s chaos. JMU’s G5 magic fades against Oregon’s top-10 offense. 80% of models hit the cover. O/U 50.5 lean under.
  2. LOCK: Ole Miss -16.5 vs. Tulane (CFP First Round, Sat Dec 20, 3:30 PM ET, TNT)
Rebels blowout revenge after last year’s 45-10 win. Tulane’s speed can’t match Ole Miss’ defensive line. 70% consensus on the cover. Prop: QB Trinidad Chambliss over 250.5 pass yards (-110).
  3. LOCK: Texas A&M -4 vs. Miami (CFP First Round, Sat Dec 20, Noon ET, ABC/ESPN)
Aggies home-field edge at Kyle Field. Marcel Reed (2,932 yds, 25 TDs this season) torches Miami’s secondary. 65% model hit. O/U 47 lean over.
  4. DOG: Alabama +1.5 at Oklahoma (CFP First Round, Fri Dec 19, 8 PM ET, ABC/ESPN)
Tide flips the revenge script for a 27-24 upset in Norman. Experts split 55/45. Low-scoring under 40.5.
  5. DOG: Washington +8.5 vs. Boise State (Bucked Up LA Bowl, Sat Dec 13, 8 PM ET, ABC)
Huskies’ top-25 rush defense neutralizes the Broncos’ ground game. Road dog value (4-2 ATS last 6 non-conference). 60% cover sims.
  6. DOG: South Florida +2.5 vs. Old Dominion (Cure Bowl, Wed Dec 17, 5 PM ET, ESPN)
Bulls riding a late surge (4-1 ATS last 5) pull the upset 24-20. 55% model says dog hits.
  7. DOG: Western Michigan +7 vs. Kennesaw State (Myrtle Beach Bowl, Fri Dec 19, 11 AM ET, ESPN)
Broncos’ experience edges the G5 newcomer. Cover in a 28-24 shootout (52% ATS lean).
  8. PROP: Boise State team rush over 180.5 yards (LA Bowl, Sat Dec 13)
Broncos’ ground attack feasts on Washington’s 85th-ranked run defense. Expect 200+ at -115.
  9. PROP: Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss over 2.5 pass TDs (vs. Tulane, Sat Dec 20)
Chambliss (3+ TDs in 4 of last 5) shreds Tulane’s secondary. Easy 3-TD night at -120.
  10. PROP: Oregon vs. JMU over 50.5 total points (CFP First Round, Sat Dec 20)
Ducks’ offense averages 42 pts last five games. Autzen pushes it to 55+ combined (58% model over).

Parlay of the Week (+1500)

Oregon -20.5 + Ole Miss -16.5 + Texas A&M -4 + Alabama +1.5 = +1500

Lines move fast. First kickoff is Saturday. Good luck and enjoy the chaos!
