Top seeds Canada, United States, Slovakia, and Finland earned direct byes into the quarterfinals. The remaining eight teams will battle in a qualification play-off round on Tuesday, February 17, with the four winners advancing to face the top seeds on Wednesday, February 18. The Gold medal game is scheduled for Sunday, February 22 at 8:10 a.m. ET (2:10 p.m. local time) at Milano Santagiulia Arena.

Team USA Path to Gold
USA is the No. 2 overall seed. A win in the quarterfinal (vs Sweden or Latvia winner) sends them to the semifinals on Feb 20. They would then need one more win to reach the gold-medal game on Feb 22. The Americans are currently the hottest team in the tournament after dominating Latvia and Denmark and cruising past Germany.
Canada’s Path
As the No. 1 seed, Canada is the clear favorite to reach the final. They face the winner of Czechia vs Denmark in the quarterfinals.
